Notes:
The EP ‘Introducing Roseland’ was Martin Hall’s first release as a solo artist for more than 6 years since the ‘Adapter’-album and the ‘Burning Sugar’-single. The record contains five classic Hall-tracks, i. e. five pieces of "poetic pop music with a lyrical edge". The grandiose opening track “Roseland” reflects like the following, more tongue-in-cheek’ish, ”You Know Why They Hate Me, Don’t You?” on MH’s icon status on the Danish music scene, while the next two songs, ”Coda” and ”Minor Frame”, shows the singer with all guards down.

The EP was released at the end of April 2005 as a prelude to Hall’s first concert for more than (also) 6 years, den highly anticipated Hindsgavl-concert at a Danish castle. The CD is produced in a collaboration with Johnny Stage (ex-Sort Sol) and contains appearances by musicians such as Morten Friis from internationally known Danish chart-breakers Safri Duo as well as Tanja Thulau from Luke. The title track ”Roseland” went straight on the airplay chart of the National Danish Radio.

You can hear track 4 on the record, the quiet “Minor Frame”, on the jukebox of this website, as well see the “Coda”-video under our media-section. The video is, like the cover, made by Danish visual artist hansen-hansen.com.
