Among other achievements the album figures on the list over the 50 most important releases in Danish rock in Politikens Rockleksikon (the ultimate Danish rock encyclopedia).
Apart from Scandinavia 'Random Hold' was released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland the year after the Danish release. The album was also met with excellent reviews in these countries.
