| Notes: | 'Performance' is a live recording of MH's concert with the Danish string quartet Den Danske Kvartet (The Danish Quartet) in the concert hall of the National Danish Radio on April 8th 1995. It is a rare document in terms of the CD being the first live recording ever released with MH.
The material on the recording stretches all the way back from the early Ballet Mecanique days ('An Attempt Of Interruption') to several sketches for the 'Random Hold' album. All songs were arranged by Hans-Erik Philip and 'Performance' features - apart from the highpoint 'Another Chapter' - the otherwise never released composition 'Worlds Apart'.
The collaboration with the string quartet turned out to be such a great success that the Roskilde Festival booked the show for an 'encore' at the festival in the summer of 1995. |
