| Notes: | The 'Warfare' single was the last release by MH using the Under For group name. As the title suggests, the song was an aggressive reflection of the mid-eighties post-punk movement as well as a personal reaction against the status of having become "spokesman for a generation" in the press.
Apart from its level of aggression, the song was a clear indication of coming changes as far as MH's career was concerned (see further notes under 'Cutting Through'). 'Warfare' remains one of MH's personal favourite tracks from this period. It was also his least sold single during the eighties. |
