On the 26th of June 2009 the independent Danish publishing company Det Poetiske Bureaus Forlag (The Poetic Bureau) released the so far most extensive collection of Danish translations of Charles Baudelaire’s prose writings, Selected Prose.

The release was translated by af Luna Tirée de la Brume and illustrated by Thomas Faber.

The publication’s 515 pages were introduced with a preface about Baudelaire written by Martin Hall, a writing entitled “The Poet, the Priest and the Soldier”.

In relation to the 30th anniversary of the English post-punk act Joy Division’s debut album Unknown Pleasures Martin Hall was invited to write an extensive essay about the group for Gaffa, Denmark’s biggest music magazine.
